Government of Niger
Development of nation or state depends upon the stability or working of its Government towards its people. Niger Government is the path through which state functions being exercised and rules/regulations are made by the government and policies run as per these regulations made by government and its concerns. As per the Constitution of 1999 this current system is termed as Fifth Republic of Niger. As per this constitution Niger Government President will act as the head of state and Prime Minister will act as the head of government. As per this constitution these two officials will be elected by elections carried out in the state and local people and will run Niger Government and will represent their people.
Niger Government History
If we look upon Niger Government history this country was African state rule by French. This country got independence from France on August 3, 1960 and Hamani Diori became first president of Niger and served as president of Niger Government till 1974. He served as Prime Minister before independence. Due to the political instability in country Fifth republic was formed under constitution of 1999 and started election criteria for selection of President/Prime Minister who will run Niger Government. As per the constitution of 1999 President will rule the country and Prime minister will rule the government and all ministers will directly report to prime minister. Prime Minister is nominated by national assembly along with approval of president and head of council of ministers along with joint decisions so that there should be no issue or problems politically.
