The culture and traditions in the Netherlands are celebrated widely all across the country. The traditions are celebrated with full zest and zeal. Netherlands public holidays are celebrated all over the year. These celebrations are based on different grounds. Netherlands public holidays are national celebrated days and others are based on religious days as well. Most of the Netherlands community is Christian and atheists. The Christian community celebrates their days starting from first day of the New Year to last day of the year. In 2019, next Netherlands public holiday was celebrated on Easter Day. It is important in Christianity. It is said that Jesus was found in the cave by Mary on this day. This is an international day by the Christians. The next day was celebrated on Easter Monday. Again a religious event in the Netherlands public holidays. The newly added holiday among Netherlands public holidays is King’s Birthday which is celebrated on 27th April, unless it not on Sunday. In that case it is celebrated on 26th April.
National Remembrance Day

It isn’t a public holiday but is celebrated in schools and other institutions. There are two more days celebrated in May is Pentecost Sunday and White Monday. Both the days are religious holidays which are celebrated by Christian community in Netherlands. Both days are in order to celebrate the passing of the Easter.
