Senegal Official Languages

These days French is the official language of Senegal and it is used by the administrators. The 20% males of Senegal understand French and only 2% of women can understand this language. A lot of languages have the status of national languages but there are only two Senegal Official languages. One of the National Language in Senegal is “Wolof” which is spoken by 80% of the population. It is the first language used by the people of Senegal. The Senegal National Language “Mande” is spoken in the region of Casamance. In this region, Guinea Creole based on Portuguese is also spoken.
