Languages in Zimbabwe
Zimbabwe is a country located in Africa. As it is landlocked country and has a long history of being under different rules and monarchies. Mainly due to that effect, there are also a number of languages in Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe has the highest number of official languages.
Zimbabwe Official Languages
There is the maximum of sixteen official languages in Zimbabwe, and it holds a Guinness World Record of having most official languages in Zimbabwe. In sixteen languages in Zimbabwe, there are some which are more widely spoken whilst others are just for the minorities. There are some tribe languages in Zimbabwe, for example, Ndebele is the tribal language. Ndebele was a tribe which settled in Zimbabwe long ago and now their language also among the official languages in Zimbabwe. English is also an official language in Zimbabwe. English has also become part of their official system as they were once the colony of British rule. Though English is used on offices and taught in schools, not many people are able to English. About 2.5% of the population are able to speak English.

There are further two more languages which are spoken by a wide number of people. Lozi and Manyika both are languages in Zimbabwe. Manyika is spoken by approximately 800,000 people whereas Lozi is spoken by almost 70,000 individuals in Zimbabwe, but they aren’t official languages.
