Languages in Ukraine

Ukranian is the most widely used language of Ukraine. The Ukranian language is also named Little Russia or Ruthenian. It is the Ukraine Official languages and Ukraine National Language.

National Language in Ukraine

Being a National Language in Ukraine, it is spoken by most of the population of Ukraine. Russian and Turkish are the unofficial Languages in Ukraine. There are 4 indigenous Languages in Ukraine. These are Karaim, Urum, Crimean Tatar, and Krymchak language.

Minority Languages in Ukraine

• There are 13 minority Languages in Ukraine that has been recognized till now. Three regional Languages in Ukraine are also spoken that are Russian, Romanian, and the Hungarian language. These are spoken in 7 oblasts, village of Tarasov's and Zakarpatia oblast. 

• The sign language of Ukraine is the Ukrainian sign language. There are six main foreign Languages in Ukraine that are Russian, English, German, French, Spanish and the Chinese language.

• The Languages in Ukraine are written in the Cyrillic alphabets. 60 % of the population of Ukraine speak Ukranian language for communication. The Ukranian language is among the old east Slavonic language. It is related to the Polish, Serbian and the Belarusian.
