Government Branches of Ecuador

Ecuador government works on unicameral representative democracy. The whole system of the Ecuador government is dependent on the branches of the country. The Ecuador government consists of three main branches which further have divisions. The three main branches include; the judicial branch which deals with maintaining law and order among the people of the country and has the supreme court as its further division, then we have the legislative branch which deals with lawmaking procedures and then we have the executive branch. 

Executive Branch of Ecuador

The executive branch has the cabinet of ministers in which the president and the prime minister are included. The President of the country is selected on a four-year term by the voting system, and then the respective President selects the Prime minister who he sees fit. The Ecuador government has not been strong in its base instead it relies more on the populist. The Ecuador government 2018 has Lenin Moreno as its President, and the Vice-president who works under the current President is Maria Alejandra Vicuna Munoz. They both are a part of the cabinet of ministers.
