When we talk about Iran’s Nightlife, we can easily say it is a country that rarely sleeps and enjoys a lot. Most of the fun starts right after the sun has set in Iran. Most of the travelers ask whether there is any Iran nightlife fun without all the typical things that they are accustomed to and can’t find here for fun at least not openly. Now since the parties are prohibited from happening honestly, all of it happens underground.

Night Parties in Iran

This means inside the country; parties usually occur in private buildings and places so that the outside world does not know about the party. Few of the big parties and weddings arise in large lots out of town mostly. One gets invited to parties just through friends, or tag along with a friend who is invited to a specific party. Parties mostly start after 10 pm and can go till any hour in the morning time.

Nightclubs & Parties in Iran

Few nightclubs in Iran are present but not found openly. In the modern Iran nightlife parties, people mostly jam, dance to 80's and 90's music of western origin or even older music. In the rich kid's party of Iran nightlife, it is more of a combination of Iranian and non-Iranian music. DJs are usually hired for the set of parties. Unfortunately, drugs are quite common too in the Iran nightlife. The most used types are a weed, opium, crystal (meth) and heroin to name a few. Cocaine is not very easy to find and expensive as well, same with acid. However, Iran’s regulation on drugs is stringent, carrying more than a few grams of opium/crystal or heroin could be a cause of severe punishment by the government even death penalty can be announced.  If the police enter the party and find traces of Iran nightlife fun, they will knock on your door. Either you bribe them (which can cost around $40-$500), or they are not the ones who are bribable, and they arrest everyone.
