The Iranian rial is the official Iran currency. Previously toman used to be the Iran currency. Although the "toman" is no longer used as an official unit of Iran currency, Iranians frequently use amounts of money and prices of goods in old currency "tomans." For this purpose, one "toman" is equal to 10 rials. Despite this usage of toman, amounts of money and prices of goods are almost always written in rials. For example, the sign next to a piece of vegetable in a store would state the price in rials instead of toman, for e.g., 10,000 rials, is an amount of a commodity then even if you ask the seller he would say that the thing costs "1000 tomans" as Iran currency. There is no official symbol for the Iran currency, but the Iranian standard ISIRI 820 has described a symbol for use on typewriters.

Iran Currency Value

The Iranian rial was decreased in value in July 2013 to half its previous value as the government reduced subsidization of the exchange rate against the dollar which was priced quite high. In December 2016, the Iranian government again announced the country's currency would be changed back from the rial to the commonly used toman. Such a move certainly requires the approval of the Iranian Parliament.

Iran Currency to PKR

One Iranian rial equals 0.0029 rupees. Iran currency rate is quite strong. The suggestion to change it to toman will be approved in the coming future because that had been commonly used. Iran currency is used for selling goods and commodities.

When we talk about Iran’s Nightlife, we can easily say it is a country that rarely sleeps and enjoys a lot. Most of the fun starts right after the sun has set in Iran. Most of the travelers ask whether there is any Iran nightlife fun without all the typical things that they are accustomed to and can’t find here for fun at least not openly. Now since the parties are prohibited from happening honestly, all of it happens underground.

Night Parties in Iran

This means inside the country; parties usually occur in private buildings and places so that the outside world does not know about the party. Few of the big parties and weddings arise in large lots out of town mostly. One gets invited to parties just through friends, or tag along with a friend who is invited to a specific party. Parties mostly start after 10 pm and can go till any hour in the morning time.

Nightclubs & Parties in Iran

Few nightclubs in Iran are present but not found openly. In the modern Iran nightlife parties, people mostly jam, dance to 80's and 90's music of western origin or even older music. In the rich kid's party of Iran nightlife, it is more of a combination of Iranian and non-Iranian music. DJs are usually hired for the set of parties. Unfortunately, drugs are quite common too in the Iran nightlife. The most used types are a weed, opium, crystal (meth) and heroin to name a few. Cocaine is not very easy to find and expensive as well, same with acid. However, Iran’s regulation on drugs is stringent, carrying more than a few grams of opium/crystal or heroin could be a cause of severe punishment by the government even death penalty can be announced.  If the police enter the party and find traces of Iran nightlife fun, they will knock on your door. Either you bribe them (which can cost around $40-$500), or they are not the ones who are bribable, and they arrest everyone.
