The government of Kenya has made some rules for the betterment of their land. Kenya custom rules are made to make the country safe from any type of danger. People traveling to Kenya or traveling from Kenya must know about these Kenya custom rules. People must follow these Kenya custom rules otherwise they will be fined.
Kenya Custom Rules For Passengers
Kenya custom rules for things coming inside the country include that passengers aging 16 years or more are allowed to take 200 cigarettes or 50 cigars or ½ lb. of tobacco with them. Moreover, the allowance for alcoholic beverages is lemmatized to one bottle. 1 pint of perfume is allowed to travel along with passenger by Kenya custom rules. Kenya custom rules do not allow the importing of any fruit, poultry meat, and products, imitation and toy firearms with a passenger.
Kenya Import Custom Rules
If anyone wants to import firearms and ammunition then he/she must get police permit as defined by Kenya custom rules. Furthermore, the importation of plants and any plant material must have Plant import permit certificate given by Kenya. Kenya Custom rule for taking things like a reasonable quantity of tobacco products and alcoholic beverages out of country range is free. However, some things like Jewellery, Gemstone, gold, skin and game trophies are not allowed to take out of Kenya. Kenya Custom rule for importing Kenyan currency is not allowed. However, only the Citizen of Kenya can import up to KES 500,000. The foreign currencies up to the USD 10,000 must be declared at the airport. However, there is no restriction on exporting foreign currencies.
