When you talk about languages in Kyrgyzstan, there are basically two languages that are mainly the official languages in Kyrgyzstan. One is the Russian and the other language is the Kyrgyz language. Now having two official languages in one country is a bit of confusion for the natives there but surprisingly the languages in Kyrgyzstan does not tend to confuse the people living there at all.

But this changed when the Russian minority living there for a long time started pressurizing the country; Russian also became an official language in Kyrgyzstan. While Kyrgyz language is a Turkic language which was written in the Arabic Alphabet style until the Kyrgyz people started writing it in Italian script. Although this Italian script style did not last long because it was then changed into Cyrillic style in 1941.

The language in Kyrgyzstan that is used for business purposes and also in politics is the Russian language while Kyrgyz is more used at home.
