The government is headed by the PM i.e. Prime Minister who is freely elected by Malta Government President who has all rights to take out all necessary decisions. He takes the decision and makes selections on the basis of situations taking place within the parliament of the Malta government. History of Malta Government

History of Malta government started from 1921 when George V was the first head of state and remained till 1933. Last head to take over the government was Marie Louise and is expected to govern the nation till 2022 if everything goes smooth. Each government has to complete 5 years tenure like most of the other countries and President has right to cancel the headship if he finds anything wrong or corrupted in POM works. Hence, each of the head works for their nation and try proving themselves so that people vote them again.
