While traveling to another country, you should always search for the language they speak and the language they understand. Many countries in the world have declared English as their official language, and thus it is part of their syllabus when they are young and in their work in their offices. So they understand English and therefore it is a mode of communication between two strangers.  But this is not the case with all of the countries in the world. Some states have their national languages as their official languages.

National Language of Oman

National languages in Oman include Arabic and Modern Arabic. Some of the other minor native languages in Oman are Balochi, Jabali, Hindi is also spoken in Oman because of a considerate amount of population of Indians migrated to Oman. Urdu is also spoken due to the same reasons and for the idea that it belongs to Hindi language family. Languages of Sri Lanka, Jordan, and Pakistan have also influenced the literature of Oman. 

English Language in Oman

Tourist will not find any difficulties in communication in Oman because the people of Oman use English widely as their official language so if a tourist knows English then he is sure to face no problems on is stay but if he doesn’t understand English, then he must know at least one of the languages mentioned above. It is a fact that you cannot cope up in a country like Oman with one language, there are millions of people and classes living out there so you should know at least one or two native languages before English.
