There are a set of Philippines custom rules to be followed while traveling in the country. Philippines custom rules restrict the import of certain goods for the purpose of national security, environmental health protection, order, and morality, additionally complying with international rules and obligations. 

Philippines Custom Rules

Prohibited goods according to Philippines custom rules include used Clothing and Rags, toy Guns, right-Hand Drive Vehicles, Hazardous Waste, laundry and Industrial Detergents containing hard surfactants, Polychlorinated Biphenyls. The tariff and Philippine Customs Code also stop the importation of the following goods which are dynamite, ammunition and other explosives, firearms, weapons, and parts thereof, except when authorized by law only. Written or printed articles that have information that advocates or incites the feelings of treason, rebellion, sedition, subversion against the government or forcible resistance to the law is unlawful according to Philippines custom rules. Written or printed articles, which have negatives or cinematographic film, photographs, engravings, objects, drawings, or other representation of an obscene or immoral character are also not allowed as per Philippine custom rules.  Articles, instruments, drugs, and materials which are intended or adapted for producing unlawful abortion, material which advertises or describes or gives some information where, how or by whom unlawful abortion is produced are also not allowed. Some wheels, gambling outfits, dice, marked cards, machines, or mechanical devices which are used in gambling or the distribution of money, cigarettes, or other items, including jackpot and pinball machines or similar contrivances, or parts thereof are not allowed as per the Philippines custom rules.
