Community airports are those airports that are used primarily for the purpose of general aviation. There are currently 41 airports working in this category. Only a few of these community Philippines international airports Cauayan Airport and Ozamiz Airport have properly scheduled air service. Privately owned aerodromes (such as airports, airstrips, airfields) are outside of the CAAP's classification system for Philippines international airports.
