Riksdag is the group of elected people by the Swedish public to form the Sweden government system and run the state affairs. Further appointment in the Riksdag of the Sweden government is done through the process. The Riksdag further appoints ministers and further appointees of different commissions in the Sweden government. The Sweden government works through the constitutional power that is granted to it by the constitution of 1809.
Sweden Government System
The local authorities in Sweden government system or the municipalities are very strong and assert great administrative powers. They are independent bodies who can decide on many matters. For example, the taxation system is decided at the municipal level or at the county level. The income tax and other administrative measures like healthcare, vocational training, education and many other matters are decided at the smaller level in the Sweden government system. These bodies are elected and are independent in making decisions on the taxes and other charges as well.
