Government of Taiwan

Here’s a little background study about the country of Taiwan and Taiwan government. Taiwan has been subjected to colonial rules by many countries and it is because of that now a lot of people from different backgrounds reside in Taiwan. Taiwan government is basically the government if Republic of China that saved China from the civil wars that had been going on in the country. So, let’s get right into it. 

Taiwan Government Works

Taiwan government works on the democratic system in which there are several other branches that make the Taiwan government. These branches are called the Yuan and there are total 5 of them. Starting from the Executive Yuan which consists of cabinet of ministers that is governed by the Premier, Premier is selected by the President of the state whoever he sees fit without an approval from anyone. Then we have the Legislative Yuan which is the law making body of the Taiwan government. The members of Legislative Yuan are selected by elections and they serve four years after which they are replaced on the basis of voting.

Another part of Taiwan government is the Judicial Yuan which is responsible for assuring that justice is being served to the people of the country. All of these branches are under investigation by the Control Yuan which monitors them while the Examination Yuan is the responsible for authenticating that the civil servants in republic of China are qualified enough. The history of Taiwan government goes back to 1912 and it was till 1949 when a newly formed government was established that is still operational.
