Government of Bulgaria

Bulgaria Parliament & Council

The third Bulgarian Council of Ministers of Bulgaria was chaired by the Boyko Metodiev Borisov on May 4, 2017. He is the current Prime Minister of Bulgaria and the head of state. The Council was voted by 235 members of the Bulgarian Parliament. The Bulgaria government is formed by the GERB Part and the parliamentary coalition of the United Patriots, as well as the contribution by the Newly formed Volya Party of businessman Veselin Mareshki. 

Government & National Assembly of Bulgaria

The government of Bulgaria takes the framework of a Parliamentary representative democratic republic and exercises executive power. The Bulgaria government and National assembly also have legislative power, but the judiciary is independent of politics. Bulgaria is divided into provinces which are 28 in number and each is headed by a provincial governor who is appointed by the Bulgaria government.  The Bulgaria government also included 263 municipalities.
