- May 6- St. George’s Day also known as the Army Day and Bravery Day and is in the memory of the famous Saint George soldier. This Bulgarian public holiday is celebrated with parades held by the military in the capital city of Sofia.

- June 21- June Solstice
- Sep 6- Unification Day marks the unification of Bulgaria and Eastern Roumelia that happened in history in 1855 on this date. The heads of state, Prime minister and the president attend the celebration
- Sep 22- Independence Day marks the independence of Bulgaria from the Ottoman rule on this date in 1908. This official declaration of independence was considered a milestone that promised Bulgaria equal status and rights amongst nations on the world stage. Major celebrations take place on this day generally happening in Veliko Tarnovo and Sofia as the Bulgarians love having fun and enjoying themselves especially on this special day in history.
