Government of Nigeria

Nigeria government is the federal government which has been playing a great role in maintaining the hard earned peace in the country but due to large number of different groups living in the country, it has been becoming harder to keep the peace alive. This is the reason that to the outside world Nigeria government is the culprit.

Nigeria Government Works

Nigeria government works on the basis of a proper federal structure which has branches to support the system. Some branches are dependent and some of them are independent. The branches of the Nigeria government include; the legislative branch which is the main law making body of the country, along with legislative branch we have the judicial branch which deals with maintaining the state of peace among the people and is also responsible for justice among the people then we have the executive branch. The executive branch consists of the President of the country who is also the head of the state and the head of the government.

Nigeria Government Action

No bill passes or no government action is implemented without the approval of the President. President is selected for a specific amount of time which is also called the term and is selected after a proper voting system has been organized.  The highest degree of the judiciary system is the supreme court of Nigeria which is supervised by the Chief Justice. As of Nigeria government 2019, the president of the country is Bukola Saraki and the speaker of the House of Representatives is Yakubu Dogara.
