• According to Nigeria custom rules, the import of 200 cigarettes or tobacco in 200 grams is free of cost.
• In case you want import free liquor, the amount should not exceed 1 liter and in terms of goods the value of the items should not exceed NGN 50,000.

• If you are looking to import species of the plants then you should be careful that these plants are not on the brink of extinction.
• In terms of pets, you should hold a medical certificate that says these pets have been vaccinated not more than 6 months prior to the import or export otherwise you can’t import or export these animals.

• While for the firearms, the import and export of arms and ammunition is strictly prohibited without a license that allows you deal with exchange of firearms. According to the Nigeria custom rules, the currency that you can import or export should not exceed NGN 5,000.
