Languages in North Korea
North Korea is the state which has the same nation as that of its neighbour, South Korea. They both have the same nation, the same culture, and the same languages in North Korea and South Korea. The Korean peninsula has a long history. It also shared the same governmental system with the rest of the world, the monarchy. It had long successful monarchies which include reign in Goryo. As for languages in North Korea and South Korea, the Korean language has been used in this land. Korean language at that was purer. There were different languages in North Korea and South Korea at that time but the difference was more on the basis of a different dialect.

Currently, since the land is homogenous with people having the same cultural ancestry, languages in both countries are also the same. The difference in dialect is counted as part of many languages in North Korea. There are an estimated 80 million speakers of Korean language. The Korean language has two main difference to know about. There is formal language and informal language. As part of languages in North Korea, formal Korean language is part of North Korean culture. Informal languages use informal ways to address people and conversation which isn’t part of North Korean culture.
Korean Dialects
There are three main Korean dialects which are part languages in North Korea; Pyongan Dialect, Munhwao Dialect, and Gyeonggi Dialect. Pyongan Dialect is spoken in north-western part in North Korea while Muhwao dialect is spoken in Kaesong, Kaepung counties and Changping cities and Gyeonggi Dialect is pure Korean language.
