North Korea Public Holiday in March
Next event is celebrated on March 2nd, 2018. It was start of the new lunar year’s first full moon. This day is celebrated as Tree Plantation Day. North Koreans celebrate this day by planting a number of trees which shows why North Korea has a large size of forestation. In 2018, March 2nd, was also celebrated as North Korea public holiday. It was International Women’s Day. There are many other days celebrated in North Korea.

Spring is also well-received in North Korea and is part of North Korea public holiday. The Chungmyang Day is celebrated in North Korea to welcome spring. In 2018, it was celebrated on April 5th. Another day in April is celebrated on April 15th, which is the birthday of Kim Il Sung. It is also called Day of Sun.
