The following Ghana custom rules apply to all passengers using Ghana’s air and seaports as well as land borders too. Passengers must not enter or disembark from ships, aircraft vehicles without permission from Customs services. All the passengers must go by the most direct route to the Customs examination area and produce all baggage as per Ghana custom rules.

One should make a written or oral declaration of goods and baggage imported by them to Customs. During the examination, documents called for are to be scrutinized, and all questions relating to goods must be answered correctly.
Ghana Custom Rules About Luggage
The Passengers’ Unaccompanied Baggage Declaration (PUBD) Form should be completed to account for part of one’s baggage, which has come in advance or left behind to arrive in another ship, vehicle, or by post. All Arms and Ammunition should be declared to Customs as per Ghana custom rules.

Baggage and personal shall include:
Binoculars, toys, and articles for household use (such as pictures, glassware, linen, crockery and plates which are shown to be there in the passenger’s personal or household use for a reasonable period.

Photographic films and sound recording tape should be examined but not including such materials if imported for photography or audio recording for commercial purposes.
Other Information About Ghana Custom Rules
Instruments used for the personal use of the passenger in his profession or trade but should not include arms and ammunition, provisions, stationery, tobacco goods, wine, saddlery or any goods imported for business as per Ghana custom rules. The items involved must be for the use for the passenger and not for sale.
