Malaysia custom rules and regulations are as same as the other countries which must be followed before you are entering and leaving Malaysia. - Wine / Spirit / Malt / Liquor are not more than 1 litre.
- Cosmetics, Perfume, Soaps, and Toothpaste are not up to the total value of RM 200.
- Gifts and knick-knacks are not more than a total value of RM 200 (except for goods from Langkawi and Labuan) which are allowed up to a total value of RM 500.
- Tobacco 225 grams / 20 cigars or 200 cigarettes are allowed, not exceeding that.
- Clothing like new wearing gears up to 3 pieces. 1 pair of new footwear.
- Personal care and hygiene gadgets such as portable electrical or battery-operated appliances are allowed one of them each without paying any customs duty.
- Beware you must declare 10,000 USD or equivalent foreign currency or more in cash. If you are traveling from Pakistan now you can carry Rs 10,000 in cash.
- Food and Drink should be avoided, for prohibited and restricted items you should check the Royal Malaysian Customs Department’s website.
